Have you always been creative and what’s the earliest work you can remember creating?
Of course... since I can remember I love creating with my own hands. I remember making Christmas embellishments with my mum at the age of 3!
What's your studio like and how do you keep organised?
I conquered the biggest room of the house, built my own table 3 meters long, and instead of legs for that table I use storage units so I have everything I need near me. I found a place for each thing... because I love boxes and I have tons. And I always tidy the room after each project so I can start the next one with my space clean and organized.
Where do you look for inspiration?
I like to watch videos from other artists to relax myself and to support them, but inspiration comes to me while I'm sleeping or when I'm out in the woods or doing something else. It's called fuzzy thinking, I guess. But as I work with my intuition, most of the times I have no idea of what I'm going to do when I start a project. I go with the flow.
Whats in your pencil case / camera bag?
Hahahaha my pencil case is the messy place where you can find everything, from pens to needles, USBs, lost embellishment, small post-its... it's Mary Poppins bag tiny version. And my camera bag contains all my lenses and accessories for photo shooting, because photography is my other passion.
Any tips for someone suffering from creative block?
Disconnect. Travel if you can. Go somewhere else... to Nature is possible. When we feel blocked or we can't find inspiration, it usually means we are drained out, so going out and walk among the trees (even in a park between buildings) will help refreshing our spirit.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
From time to time I like to make those knobs bracelets and I'm trying to learn lettering and watercoloring, because I feel very attracted for those elegant and gracile elements.
I love macro photography and traveling, I try to do both things as much as I can.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Just some words about CREATIVITY or being a creative person. It's not a gift, it's something you work on. The more you create, the more you can do. We all started knowing nothing! So just grab some art supplies and go with the flow, or follow a tutorial if you don't know how to start. But do something, create. And don't be too hard with yourself.
