Country: Wales, UK
International postage: Yes, unless the number of partcipants gets crazy large (like 8+)
Any special requirements?
DK or worsted wool weight squares only please.

@Julie I'm a little worried about size. The square pattern I'm currently using I think may be a bit larger than a regular granny square. If the aim is to make a blanket from the squares people may want them all to be a similar size. A size guideline would be good, then I could adjust as appropriate.

International postage Y/N? Yes

Size: 6x6 inches or 12x12 inches

Any special requirements? I'd like the classic version of a Granny Square. I'd also like non-variegated yarns. You can change colors in the square, that's fine. I just don't like the yarns that change colors in the same skein. (I like those kinds for other projects just not this one, lol)

Comments: I think it is cool to send 2 to each person, but If there get to be a lot of people signed up I'll have to space out my mail out date. Also I think it would be fine to set our size preference, for people doing larger squares like Libby. I wouldn't mind making different sizes for different people.

Hey girls, I'm thinking I'll just send out traditional granny squares and wait and see what I get in return before I make my own to incorporate into a blanket/cushion etc.
I know theres still over a week left on sign-up but if there aren't many takers we can maybe bump up the number of squares we send out up?

I would be up for sending out a larger number of square is it ends up being just us three Happy

If it remains just the three of us then of course we can revise the number of sqaures sent.

Just thought I'd bump this up in case there are any last minute hookers who want to join in!

If not, Libby and Pam let me have your thoughts on how you want to proceed with this

I dont mind Happy If we still just want to do 2 that's fine with me, but I could manage up to 6 squares per person. With a send out date of like the last week of September or so. I have a few other swaps/projects going at the moment, lol.

I usually don't prefer variegated yarns as well but if you think it looks good I trust your judgement Happy go crazy

I will try and get all of them done to send out on the 15th but I might have to send some out later too, just depends on how much time I have this week.

Yay I have the new boards and I can post again!
I realise I put a really short send out date on - that was more for my benefit as I am a massive procrastinator!
Libby has already let me know she is going to be late sending out - she has rather more pressing things going on at the moment!
So just keep everyone informed and hook at your leisure!

Ok so I pushed through all my squares this week and actually got them all done! I was up very late last night and mailed everything off today. So hopefully they will be with all of you shortly Happy

Well done Pam!
I'm nearly there - just a few ends to sew in!
Then I need to find the envelopes and they'll be on their way!
