I'm Mary's Vet and she is a great partner already so I'll vouch for her.
I'm happy to join but I'd rather swap in the US this time as I've been having some problems with receiving things that are organic internationally.I'm sure I read something about this in a customs doc but can't locate it currently.
I do know we where heavily questioned when we arrived in the US with 5 packs of foil wrapped tea when we moved here !
BTW there are 6 types of tea in my cupboard.
Selina you've inspired me to have a Tea Party for my US friends has a whole other meaning for them !

Yay Debs spread the love for afternoon tea over seas Happy It is sooooo the best!!!

Can you get clotted cream there? MmMMM scones, clotted cream and strawberry conserve mmmmmm! I have had a productive day and made some chelsea buns and banana and pecan muffins. I wrote it on FB and now my brother is going to come over for afternoon tea in a few weeks - so I will be baking some yummy goodies for him and his family yay!

Mary is fab I recieved a message earlier from her and I think we are going to get on really well Happy

When I went to China with school, one of the other staff gets lots of gifts given to him and alot of tea as you can imagine - in leaf form with lots of odd bits and bobs in it hahaha! Quite interesting at customs!

On another site i have swapped a package that was themed international snacks swap - i angeled for it and feel really bad as it still has not arrived (8 weeks later!) - I am wondering whether they have destroyed it for some of the reasons you are all mentioning Happy I wish they would have told me because there was ove £40 worth of food goodies and an apron, flower brooch and finger puppets i made Happy It also cost me £16 to send it!!!! Darn post office! Lesson learnt - rant over!

Make tea not war x x x

Selina you've reminded me of a nursing story.
In the day when I was team lead on a children's orthopedic ward in Oxford we had lots of visiting docs from all over the world.
I was having the scone/scoone debate with a female registrar when the ITALIAN registrar piped up he had no idea what we were debating.
The next big ward round I drove in with hot scones from 20 miles away and we had an awesome home made strawberry jam and clotted cream moment.
Clotted cream yes-in whole pay check but no plain chocolate digestives

Hahaha Debs, this reminds me so much of the first time I went to Ireland, I was still a kid and didn't know a thing about local food... I was working in a café at the time as a waitress and the first order I took was a scone, a muffin, scrambled eggs on toast and a full Irish breakfast with a side of coleslaw. I had *no* idea what they were talking about, I had never heard of any of these foods before, I felt so bad! Happy Happy Happy

I'd be up for this Happy

I'm in England - I can swap internationally but if possible I'd prefer UK or Europe - just cos my budgets a bit stretched at present

It's not the Irish Film Center in Temple Bar you're talking about, is it?!

Uh, sorry - I think I'll private message you about this, we don't want to keep the board busy on personal matters, do we? Happy
