Fabric Swap

fabric is expensive, so let's trade the ones that we're bored of!

any other sewers out there who want to get rid
of extra fabrics? i haven't swapped anything on
here before, but i figure we could set some
guidelines, like fabric pieces that have a minimum
size requirement, certain types of fabrics, etc.

i'm mainly looking for satins and knits . i have
lots of knits (solids + some patterns) that i'd
like to get rid of too. maybe we could give each
other as much fabric as we can stuff into one of
those usps flat-rate boxes. i don't know, we'll
work out the details later.

anyone else looking for fabric/have fabric to
share, post here please! let us know what you're
willing to get rid of and what you're looking for.

I have tons of fabric I would love to swap! I buy a lot on a whim without any real plans for it, so it just piles up in my room. I'll iron them all out tonight and post pictures and dimensions of them.

EDIT: I have pictures

This is light cotton with a bit of stretch that measures: 52.25 x 47 inches

It does have that yellow writing on the end (it came like that when I bought it) but it may wash out and it isn't that big (just the one corner)

Heavy Linen, black, prewashed, measures: 40 x 53 inches

I'll lint brush off those little white and red specks before I send, I didn't notice them until after I uploaded the picture, and I'll also give it an extra iron.

I'm not sure the exact type of fabric this is, but I think it may be a polyester/satin blend if that is possible. It is smooth and nice on the right side though. Measures: 30.25 inches wide and 44.75 inches tall on the right side, and 59.5 inches tall on the left side.

Sorry for the blurry first image, but it shows you the shape. The lighting messed up the colour, the second image is much closer to the actual colour although the shine made it slightly brighter.

High quality fleece (soft and comfy instead of that spongy textured stuff), measures: 48 x 63.5 inches

Elvis print on cotton (medium weight) measures: 44.75 x 34.25 inches, the missing piece is 8.5 x 9 inches

Also I've got two large sheets of army green fabric, one in light cotton and the other in twill. If anybody is interested I can post images and dimensions of those fabrics as well.
