How to get rid of holes??????

Yesterday I bought a tank top at PacSun, and it was pretty darn expensive but it was well worth the money. When I tried it on, it was pretty baggy and made my hips look too big, so I used the safety pin corset technique to tighten it up a bit. But one of the safety pins had made a big hole, about 3/4 cm. I don't wanna get rid of the shirt because I just love it and it was the last one at the store. Is there any way I can shrink the hole??? Ex. Machine wash, hand wash, etc. And plz no patching!!!!!!!!!!

If you plan on wearing it again the same way I would suggest adding permanent grommets.. When adding a grommet you need to make a hole to put the metal grommet in and then you attach the other side, so half of the work is already done!

Depending on the location of the hole you could just make your tank smaller by taking it in around the sides thus removing said hole.

I know you don't like patching but have you tried this way?
Add an iron-on patch under the fabric with the sticky/glue side facing the fabric.
So the patch surface would be touching your skin. depending on the hole size the glue usually holds it fine. If you can find a matching patch this would be my option.

^I like your suggestions. Happy

You could just sew the hole back together. I dont think it would be noticable really. I dont really understand "Safety Pin corset method", but if you put safety pins in and the corset strings are pulling on them (i guess?), the shirt will most likely keep making holes where the pins are. Especially if u wash it with them in as well.

Theres many ways to make a tank fit you, without doing that. If you want corseting still, you can make more holes (where you put the safety pins) & pull the string thru them. Same effect. Good luck.
