I found in Sainbury's a Jack Daniel's poker set for £8 so I might get that. It comes with a little bottle of Jack, some Jack Daniels playing cards and the poker chips (which I think are undecorated.) I was thinking about decorating the chips but that'll take FOREVER, so I might just buy it. And then make him a tshirt and I'll be done =) (spending so much money this week)

Haha I found if you get someone of a similar size to help it's good =) like I needed a tshirt for Stevie so I got Andy to try it on and see if it's too big. Unfortunately it was, gonna have to fork out some more money now for one that fits better =(

I've made Andy a Middlesbrough cushion and bought Homicide - A Year On The Killing Streets because he likes the wire. That with the Opeth necklace and Jack Daniels poker set should go down fairly well =)

I've finished my mother's gift and my sister's gift. Unfortunately it's all wrapped up and I forgot to take a pic to show you guys! ...oops...
Going to work on my grandmother's gift today. Will try to remember to take a pic!

Ooh, sneaky!

not sneaky enough. omg, he is TOO SMART! :-P luckily, he hasnt figured out what hes getting (yet--and i hope!!). it took my friend and me probably four hours to find a tshirt that would work, and honestly, it shouldnt have been that hard!!! we finally did, though, and im excited. :-D

i got a black one, and now i want to stencil "paramore" on it, probably in white.... but i might do white and another color like grey or red , one overlapping on the other... what do you all think? also, what do you think i should use to do the actual stenciling with??? i thought about spray paint, but it could get messy. is there a kind of fabric paint that would work without looking like something a sorority girl would use for puffy paint letters? ;)

The most important thing is that I want it to look good, and last through washings, wearing it, and everything. I don't mind if the paint/dye/whatever gets kind of "torn" looking, eventually, since that's a style, but I want it to last overall and stay looking great. :-D

any suggestions????

(I also bought him a ukelele, because he is a music whore, and wants to learn to play it. He is so cute. :-P )

What I use is Dylon fabric paint, it comes in little pots and is quite runny so just like a normal paint, doesn't puff or anything. I'd advise that over spraying, and it'll stay well (I messed up a tshirt for my brother so put it in the wash to get the paint on as I hadn't fixed it yet, and the bugger didn't come off!)

I made my friend Stevie a Bjork tshirt with the Debut cover on it, he was SO excited! Was like running round the room and showing it to everyone haha, and insisting I couldn't have made it. Made me happy! And I gave my friend a Big Bang tshirt (her favourite band) and she loved it apparently, she only opened it when I wasn't there. Giving Andy his presents tomorrow, hope he likes them!

i dont think we have dylon here.... so i bought some regular acrylic. ik it never comes off my mom's paint shirts, and the woman at the craft store was wearing jeans she had stenciled on, apparently with acrylic.... oh, well. hope it works!!! :-D

i also decided, spur-of-the-moment, to make him a teensy fimo pazcki, kind of as an inside joke. idk how to put the sugar on top, though... Happy i made another post about that, though, so i wont go into details here. ;)

@tracy c: i love embroidering! are you going to put photos up?

i think everyone should put photos of their gifts up. i mean, it goes without saying, but i felt the urge to voice it anyway. O.o
