emo v.s punk

which do you prefer
personally i love punk music but both have their unique qualitys
and i appreciate both forms of music but what i love about both is the fashion aspect

definately punk.
emo is too mainstream and whiney and sounds too much like every other emo band.

punks been around forever and have always stood for something
and again, not all punks look alike, whereas emos have almost the same look to all of them.

i've been both, so i think i know whats goin down with both. :]

emo if you dont listen to the crap on the radio that tries to pass as emo. mainstream anything sucks! emo is way radd in my book.

theirs a band you guys should look up on myspace their pretty cool revenge to romance is the name or else its romance to revenge idk anyways they
were playing at the basement here in columbus they gave me one of their promo cds i took it home and listend to it i really liked it sometimes i still listen and i got the cd like to yrs ago

theirs alot of good bands on their my brother plays electric guitar and base guitar and he was doing drums we used to call him one man band *laughs* he sold the drums though Happy
