needle felted purse to big

Hi, I tried to do the resist method and it didn't
all stay together so I needle felted it together and its much larger than I wanted,
If any one can help me with this I would appricate it so much .Thank you

i would try putting it in the washing machine (hot water/ then cold) this should felt the fibers even more and shrink the bag. take a look at this website for more tips

Add lots of soap and hot water,roll it up and start rolling it back and forth.Like in step 1O. and 11. in my how to:

The hot water will make it shrink and the soap will make the wool harder and stick together.
After that wash it in cold water.
