Get dressed and try to free whatever the cat has?

I'd be so sad and worried, what if it's a mouse? Happy This makes me glad that my cat Rhett is far too lazy to chase after anything other than his X and O's cat food.

But where has it come from and what if it's a rat?

Okay I think it's alive and it's inside one of my shoes. I have a bowl over it. The cat is really annoyed and how the fuck did it get in?

It's a mouse by the way.

It's more then likely that your darling cat caught it outside and has brought it in for you as a "present"

My cat Lolly kinda did that but got scared when I chased her, she dropped what she had caught (which was a lickle baby bird). He was still alive so I put him on my garden table and went to go find him some worms but when I looked back he'd died.
:'(
I know it's only natural for cats but I really hated her at that moment...

We've had several moments like that from Lolly, you've just got to get out and remove it from your house whatever it is. My cat brought a mouse in the house, dead with his insides spilling onto my carpet. Not a fond memory but it's either that or you leave the mouse/rat or whatever loose in your house to either run amock or to lay they dead!!!

Good on you for trapping him under a bowl. A good idea now is to slide a plate under it so you can pick up the mouse without touching him, and release him into the garden!!

He's an indoor cat. That's what is freaking me out. I'm going out to find a big bit of cardboard because unfortunately the thing the mouse took cover in was my white shoe. So the bowl was the big mixing bowl and now I don't have a plate big enough!

Then I'm going to scrag the cat.

Mice can sneak and fit through anything. My hamster is the sneakiest little thing. But I'm glad you helped the little bit out!

If you have one mouse in your house check that there arn't others. They get in through cracks in walls and move around under floor boards. There are usually more than one. Check your kitchen cupboards especially around flour & boxed cereals. If you find something that looks like a currant it isn't!!!!! Mice are permenantly incontinent too so make sure you clean your cooking sufaces well until you find out if there are more Happy

Done and done Sheila, I had a massive panic attack and bleached everything! For those of you that want to know the mouse lived and even found the time to take a dump in my shoes before being released to a normal mousie life xx
