Laptop love is now hated

I have a laptop for schoool. And on friday when i came back from bluewater, I opened up the sctreeen and out fell my calculator( this is my school bag, btw), and my screen is cracked Happy
But is alll working apart from the screen, but I have a geography project due in on thurs to finish, so i'lllm take to my school techians and they can put my work on my memory stick and I'll do it on a replacement laptop.

But they might not by able tooo

BUT WHY DID WE NEED LAPTOPS?GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

You can link an external monitor to your laptop so you can use your laptop's hard drive but with an alternative screen to your laptop one.
Don't ask me how to do it though, because I don't have a clue, I just know that it can be done haha. Yor school technicians should be able to help you out with it though.

WTF? a new screen costs £185 (without labour)for a screen from the school? NO BLOODY WAY
but i have my geography on my memory stick!!!
but outside of school it is about £90 with labour!
