wisdom teeth

eeek, my wisdom teeth are coming down, again. I was born with two sets of wisom teeth. Thats right 8 wisdom teeth. eeeeeekkk. it hurts so bad

8?!?! crap - I didn't even have room for the 4 I had. mine started coming in when I got my braces off... just in time to make everything crooked again since they were growing sideways into the other teeth instead of straight up. they didn't really hurt that bad - probably because they never broke through the skin and I was used to a lot of teeth and jaw pain. I think having them removed was the least painful dental proceedure I've ever had. it was actually quite relaxing with all the drugs afterwards. Tongue
my husband has his 4 in, but he has room for like 2 other set behind those - I'm so jealous of people with that much room in their mouths! I hope my kids get lucky with small teeth or big mouths!

my first wisdom tooth is coming in now, so far I haven't really experienced any pain, but I'm terrified that I will because I can't go to the dentist :S

oh yeah- they are coming out sideways, pushing a jaw tooth out of the way too. a bit has started to break the skin, my gums are bleeding. nt fun

I had to get two teeth pulled just so my first wisdom tooth could grow in...i sucked on a lot of licorice to get the gums to break for it to grow in..then my second one came in...that didn't hurt at all compared to the first one...now i'm just waiting for the next two to come in. Blech!

aw man I can't imagine having 8! I had one start to come through and I got it removed, there was so much blood I passed out later at the supermarket! doh!

Ouch at all your stories!
Mine are all coming through, but very veeery slowly thank god. They only hurt occasionally, and even when they do hurt its not too terrible. The top 2 are growing straight down, but the bottom 2 are coming in at an angle so it's those ones that hurt.

i had jaw infection too and didnt know it till i saw the dentist..i was stuck on antibotics for weeks, I really need to get my evil wisdom teeth pulled..but scared...shudder. I hope you feel better meshellie (hugs)
