Not New but Hey

Hello CO+K, Im Kylie (aka MischievousRaven), Im a 28 year old craft maker from the UK.

Just wanted to introduce my self because even though i have been on here what seems like forever, i have actually never indroduced myself. . . . . so here it goes.
I have been craft making ever since i got my first sewing machine at the age of 15, i have been to college and got a foundation degree in Art and found my passion for Bunting making. Im a creative person by heart, and love making new things. My sister sometimes hates that when i try something for the first time, it comes out really good (SORRY SIS). As a craft maker i have the annoying trait of hoarding craft supplies and buying things that i have not used yet. Im hoping in the near future thgat i can become self employed and sell my crafts full time rather than working for the man.

I totally have the craft hoarding trait too *high 5* so recently, I've made the rule that I'm not allowed to buy anything until I know exactly what I'm going to make with it. It's easier said than done though Wink

I'm a fellow hoarder too...I keep telling myself not to buy any more fabric unless I'm just about to use it, but the lure of the fabric store is just too strong........
Perhaps a destash swap sometime ?

Just bought fabric the other day to make my own head band but for me i keep buying craft books so i have made the mission of borrowing them from the library instead

Hi Kylie!!! ah another craft hoarder. Happy i have cook books and craft books(mostly embroidery and crochet) randomly piled about. There are sewing patterns stuck in random drawers throughout my house xD

Fellow craft hoarder here. It's a struggle! I'm working very hard right now to destash all of the supplies I (rationally) know I'll never use, but have (completely irrationally) never been able to part with for some reason. It's slow going so far! >.< I bought a bunch of those "bankers box" filing boxes recently, and told myself if I filled them and didn't put a dent in the accumulated mess, I'd have to admit that I had a problem and start getting rid of things. lol I'm not convinced they didn't send me magic boxes that are somehow smaller on the inside.
