What Camera do you Use?

What type of digital camera does everyone use?

I'm shopping and need advice on a budget friendly/easy to use digital camera.
I had an old and cheap digital camera I've been using for the past 5 years or so, I borrowed it to my little brother when he went to Chicago on a band trip. They had a bus crash on the way home....it was scary. But to make a long story short, my little brother is fine and well but my camera did not return with him. Happy

Mine is ace its a little purple kodak one. It was a little bit expensive (£109) but I'd never had one as good before and it was for my birthday. There are loads of diffrent settings on it, it focuses on its own, it makes my photography look amazing, it's easy to use and ITS PURPLE!

I have three cameras but they're all a bit old now.

1 - My iPhone camera which I obviously have on me all the time, so if I see something when out and about, I'll snap it on that.
2 - A compact camera which is the Harijuku Lover's HP camera. It usually kicks about in the bottom of my bag and is really cute but I'm going to be replacing it soon:

3 - A Canon EOS 350D with various lenses which I use to take gig photos and stuff for Snippets.

I have a nice little Canon Powershot A530 that is about 3 yrs old. It takes lovely images and the color on it is great. It has a nice manual feature and takes great macro photos.

I highly recommend the powershot line.

I love my olympus underwater/shockproof camera. Can't remember which model it is (couple of years old now) but its saved me so much. I got it for christmas from two of my friends because I am the clumsiest person ever and my old camera was dieing due to me dropping it all the time.

I'm on the look out for a new camera still. Wanting to get a more professional one for when I actually due have some photography ideas. Auto focus can drive you insane! I also want the ability to do some long exposure shots which are also fun to play with.

I have a Nikon J1. It was a gift so I'm not sure of the exact price but it's nice and lightweight and you can buy extra lenses for it

Lumix

Must agree with previous comment - Panasonic Lumix - only TZ8 but I find it works well and I only occasionally use my more sophisticated bridge camera with filters etc - too much bother to setup
