just wondering if anyone knows what scientology is
i have no clue but was curious
i ran across something that described it as a made up religion that has something to do with a volcano lol
is this true

tom cruise, katy holmes, and i think john travolta are all scientologists..

I went past the HQ in London!!!

Apparently they believe something like humans are the drones/tools of aliens and we're carrying their souls to do good and a space ship will come and take us to utopia one day (reminiscent of simpsons episode isn't it?)...something like that but I think some of that infomation came from a TV programme which was really taking the mick out of it. Women who believe in scientology are supposed to have a silent birth too aparently, so definitly not going to convert if that's how they want to treat women.

Well it really is a cult, if you look at the definition of a cult, as if every other religion. But Some people consider Scientology actually dangerous, due to various rumours. I'm not sure if any have been substansiated, but that is only because the goings-on in the church of scientology are kept under lock and key.

From what I've learned, You actually have to have a certain amount of money to join [hense why there are many celebrities in it, because only those with a certain power/stature in the community are allowed to join]. There are tons and tons of rumors floating around about it, and even the members seem to be confused...

Any organisation that's asking for money so you can join them like that is dodgy in my opinion...there's donating and there's selling beleifs

No one really know what its all about though, so I think that's why people think it's dangerous.
