Ways to wear a corset?

Hey there Happy
I bought a corset in december last year, and I totally fell in love with corsets. They make you look so pretty o3o
But the problem is, I don't know how to wear them without looking like a whore. Does anyone have any ideas about how to wear a simple corset? :3

well one way I saw once, was a corset over a fitted blouse, very classy. I will see if I can find a pic somewhere

but over a long sleeve tee would be cool too

Well, it's not like there are a million ways to wear a corset. My best suggestion to you is to go through your wardrobe and see if any of your tops work well under your corset.

I usually wear my corsets with a bolero, under or over. Lace or silky ones look especially nice. A funky tee-shirt layered under works as well. Also if you have thinner dresses you may try wearing it over the dress. Emilie Autumn rocks a henley undershirt. So there are plenty of ways just get creative and try outfits you wouldn't usually. Sry it's so photo-loaded I wanted to give you good visuals. Also if you decide to wear just the corset on top wear more clothing on bottom so you balance out and don't look skanky.

Try it over a long dress, even a strappy one. I have a halter-maxi I wear a waist corset with, the corset is pink and the maxi is black- it gives the overall impression of one corsetted dress.

Felicity....cool to see Emilie Autumn. I wear stretch lace tops within the same tonal range. I have a salmon pink corset that I wear a dusty wine top under.

Fitted shrugs or short cloaks work too.

Wearing the right accessories helps. I like cameo necklaces or chokers with beads in a V shape.
