Crafting at work?

Do you secretly craft at work, and if so, what do you make?

I crochet at work, (probably too much). I make afghans, gloves, scarves, slippers, whatever I happen to be working on. Crochet is the easiest to pick up and put down between support calls. I love it!

Crochet seems like the popular office craft! Do you have to hide it from your bosses?

Lucky you Selina... I guess you don't have to worry about the boss catching you out!

Depends on the job; I worked the door in a nightclub on nights I wasn't waiting, and knitted my son a sweater. With my job now, it would definitely be theft of time to knit/crochet at work. The plus side is that web design *is* a part of my job, and really isn't that another form of art? Happy

I know Crafterella!!! I love it!!! plus if I see something new I want to try I can try it with one of my classes. Recently I wanted to explore silk painting so one of my classes used our links with a school in india to design and make a toran (indian wall hanging) with all shisha mirrors, sequins, beads, gems and we also made our own tassles Happy

It was quite funny today as some of my pupils were all shocked saying 'ooo miss your arm - how did you do that?'

I was like 'what?' and when I looked I found that I have a rainbow all on my forearm that looks like the best shiner of a bruise possible!!! And then it twigged - Period 1&2 I had been doing tie dye with my year 8's and have now mananged to dye my arm in the process lol!!! Hey ho - I am sure to play on that one lol - Just played the trick on my partner MWAH HAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!

Well, I do a little bit of crocheting between classes. I used to knit and crochet in class, but in order for me to succeed it would have to be a very easy or consistent pattern. I tried a lace pattern in class and i ended up so focused/frustrated on that i had to leave XP
