suddenly intolerent to lots of stuff...help!

I just went to the hospital and found out that I am intolerant to a bunch of types of food. Dairy, any acidic food, foods that are fatty, cooked in too much oil or greasy, anything fried, caffeine...I can have a tiny bit, but I really need to avoid them. So, I pretty much have to completely change what I eat.

I'm going to try eating a lot of fresh foods, and vegetarian alternatives for dairy stuff. But I would love some recipes..I love to cook, so the thought of having a really limited diet makes me sad.

I am not intolerant to foods, but I love to read this girls blog. http://bittersweetblog.wordpress.com/

She writes mostly vegan recipes, but some are gluten free and very healthy, so you may get some good stuff there. Good luck with your new diet Happy

I changed my diet pretty dramatically a number of years ago because of Acid Reflux Disease, so I sort of know your pain. Once you make the switch, after a year you will never want to go back. I agree with Michelle though, it takes a lot of trial and error to find the right diet.

I highly recommend www.allrecipes.com There are great healthy and quick recipes all over the website. A limited diet does not mean limited foods! If you love to cook, then Im sure you will be able to create some fabulous recipes on your own. Also keep in mind that you can take unhealthy foods that you love and make healthy options. Allrecipes offers a number of healthy versions of unhealthy foods.
