Christmas Rooms!

Okay well nobody seems to be taking the bait on this one, so I'll start things off! This is what I've done to my room for the holidays!








And these are all the beta fish me and mom saved from wal-mart yesterday. Don't worry, they'll soon be put into much larger tanks! That's why we save them anyway - it's ridiculous to keep them in such small spaces. One is a Christmas fish... he's red with a white tail! I'll have to post a picture.



And this is my tree at night - it's fiber optic - I love it!!

that is so adorably cute!! ill post pics of our room when its done, we are decorating tomorrow i think. and baking COOKIES

wow your room is huge, my rooms were never that big...or that cleaned...to even have my own xmas tree that is so awesome! I will try to get some action shots of my xmas stuff with my phone tommorow and post them. laters

Ooooohhhhh. COOKIES! Yum. I found a professional-ish icing thing at target for $1 to do the cookies with this year. Hopefully, they will come out very pretty! Thanks for the compliment on my room! Of course, mine usually isn't this clean either - probably just because i packed all my stuff away to make room for the decorations. when you think of it that way, i suppose i sort of cheated.

Oh thanks! Yep, tidying up is always the lovliest part, isn't it? Ugh. I recommend some very good music and catching a cleaning bug. LoL. Or just stuffing everything in the closet. That method works wonders. ^.^

Awww Sug, your decorations are so cute! I don't know whether or not this is the case, but from the lighting your tree looks like it has a pink glow to it and i lurrrrrve it!

thanks, its actually colored lights I didnt notice the pink till you said so...it looks kewl I had Lillian help me decorate it...some of the ornaments and ribbons are more on the bottom than the top lol I cant wait till matt decorates the outside

I have a 7-footer so it's hard to see all the ornaments here. I think my favorites (besides what I've posted in my creations) are the colored balls and the gingerbread men. my theme was supposed to be candy, but other things have made their way in including a plushie JessayahX made me!

the nutcrackers are a collection my mom and I have. we give eachother one every year I don't have anywhere to put my stockings yet, so they're just on the Wii sensor bar for this pic my mom made my velvet stocking when I was born - they're kind of a family tradition on my dad's side so we all have the same type of stocking, so FINALLY last year (after being married for 4 years) I made my husband one I really like how his came out. I didn't do all of the traditional toys like on mine - I personalized his with his favorite football teams helmets, the star on top of his tree is the Dallas Stars logo, and I made a violin and added other sport stuff. I'm hoping to make my cat and dog one, too. maybe I'll get to it in the summer!
