A really easy way is to attach all the hair and unravel each piece of yarn used for the hair. It well give the hair a really right wavy/curly effect Happy hope it works out how u want it!

hairspray just a little and take a pen and then wind it. or you can use a hair gel but I don't recommend using it

Maybe wind around a pencil, or tube or can (for size) and then spray with fabric stiffener.

I've used Justine's technique to make curly yarn hair for a cornhusk doll, but If you want larger curls, perhaps a small curling iron and plastic based yarn?

This method might take longer but it will look really good Happy unravel, comb, and straighten the yarn like in this tutorial: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/fox-tailout-of-yarn
and then you can do whatever you want with it! (braid, wind around, curling iron etc.) it will look realistic too. good luck!

I have seen people use felting wool (unfelted) which looks really good, you can style into a 'do' really easily
