Food/Drink you used to hate but now love?

I remember the 1st time I tried out Green Peas, Coffee, Alcohol and now currently "Bailey's Irish Cream"

I hated these them all at first but preserved and discovered if their prepared with some flair then they taste awesome. So does anybody have any foods they used to hate but now love and way they enjoy these foods to be served?

With baileys irish cream today I discovered it tastes awful alone but amazing with some choc ice cream;)

Coffee, definitely. I have to have creamer, or milk and sugar. and it HAS to be iced. I'm not a fan of hot drinks, except hot chocolate and even then it needs to be more luke warm than hot.

Is green peas a drink or are you talking about the vegetable?

Mushrooms - couldn't stand them up until a few years ago but now I have to be careful not to eat them all raw before I have put into whatever dish I am preparing Happy

I'm slowly beginning to like wine
I used to gag when I tried to eat eggplant but I recently tried making baba ganoush and i think it's amazing with the right spices.

I love olives and used to think they were disgusting when I was growing up. I can now happily nom a jar of them. I also used to hate marmite as a child but as an adult I love it. I also like peppers now, especially roasted. This makes my boyfriend laugh as he still remembers a time when I used to pick out any pepper in a meal and leave them piled up on the side.

I used to dislike dried tomatoes, mushrooms, leek, mozzarella, goat cheese, beer. Now I can hardly live without these foods. I'm still not a big fan of a lot of vegetables, but if I make them myself I'm more likely to like them. I'm glad about that because I like cooking a lot.

tomatoes, couldn't stand the watery taste but now I love them.... only took 20 some odd years

I never got used to coffee or tea.... everyone said I would learn to love it as an adult but I just don't care for it straight or super sweetened / mixed.
