Lipstick color help??

I've been wanting to get some lipstick, but I don't know what color to get. I have a bunch of tutorials on here so you can see my face. So, can anyone suggest a color that would look good on me?? And I just want a cheap lipstick. Like Covergirl, Maybelline, etc.

Best advice if you are starting out with lipstick is to go one shade deeper than your actual lip color. Especially if you are going bold on your eyes like in your side picture- you don't want to go bold on your lips. Always best to just focus on one feature otherwise you end up looking like a clown or really old.

how about a lip stain? adds a bit off colour, not too strong.

I have a nice peachy tone, just a bit of pink too it

I bought a lip stain and I thought it would be a light pink, but it ended up making me look like a crazy cat lady. So, I gave it to my sister, but I think I might try the Just Bitten from Revlon and get a really light color.

I think you should go to a cosmetic store and try the samples on your wrists to see which shades match your skin colours and which you like most, then try it on your lips. That's what I normally do when I want a new colour because most shades make me look like a ghost, whether it's bold red or dark brown.. It's very frustrating. Nude lips also look weird on me because I'm so pale

I found some! Finally. And it was only 93 cents! It's from Wet N Wild and it's pink, but leaning more toward mauve. I really like it and I think I'll be able to use it for lots of looks.

lol Wet n' wild was what I used when I first started using make up! That brings back some crazy memories! I got it because it was cheap too! I totally forgot about that stuff! I suspect because I haven't seen it in ages!

I think the formula has changed quite a bit cause I see a lot of make up people on youtube use it.
