eye shadow?

I haven't really ever worn much makeup. I somtimes use lipgloss and/or concealer. I am wondering what color eye shadow would look good on me. I have blueish green eyes if it makes a difference.

I have the same color eyes and I use brown shades to play up the blue in my eyes and purple shades to play up the green. I find layering the two colors works well for me. Hope this helps.

I agree with sandi d. Purples and browns would look best. Some people say blue can bring out blue eyes, but most people say it kinda washes out their eyes. Also, you should use a highlight whenever you put eyeshadow on. It could be white to a pale shimmer whatever you like.

What is a highlight? where would I highlight?

I usually highlight right under my brow. But you can buy white shimmery eyeshadow to use as a highlight that's what I use.

Chelsea is right. You should put it right under the arch of your brow then blend it out. You can also put a little bit in the inner corner of your eye.

Eyeshadow that actually looks good usually depends on the least dominant tone in your eyes, and which color you want to dramatize.

If you want to bring out the subtle colors in your eyes, use that color of eyeshadow with a darker line around your eyes. If you want to make the dominant color more noticeable, experiment with the same color in lighter and darker shades.

But to find something that truly fits you, it takes a lot of experimentation... try out colors that you usually don't like, because you might find that they look good on you.
