Your biggest supporter

I'm lucky to have a lot of lovely family and friend who love my crafty gifts but none more so than my best friend Callum who yesterday surprised me with this wonderful article about my anime themed crafts I've made for him.

So happy, I'm a total robot and it brings a tear to my eye!
So who is your biggest crafting supporter? Happy

My biggest supporters are all good friends, but I think the biggest is my friend Rhonny (the one in my current profile pic with the gorgeous red lipstick). We met at a zombie walk and bonded over our love of all things horror. She's always asking me if I've made anything new and giving me great ideas for my little Blockhead zombie dolls. She's the only person who has ever bought a complete set when I did a themed character series, and the only person I knew wouldn't laugh at me when I just HAD to make a cute little plushie doll version of myself (mostly because she commissioned me to make a custom doll of herself first!). She runs a horror blog where she reviews a lot of independent films and artists and has asked me a couple times about running a piece on me, but I'm terrible about deadlines lately with spending so much time on school. One day we'll get around to it! This is her blog: http://dollarbinhorror.blogspot.com/

That's awesome, I do like a wee bit o' horror myself so I'll check out her blog Happy
Callum and I have known each other forever being from the same small island in Scotland, but I love that we have grown together and share our nerdiest parts. He is constantly trying to show me new anime he loves, I'm waffling on about comics he should read, he tries to get me to play computer games and I try to get him to watch American comedies. It's a great back and forth and I never imagined that the gifts I bestow upon him (always make jokes about filling his house with sh*t) would turn in to such a loving tribute. Best friends are the best Happy

Aw that is really sweet that he posted a whole article about the things you made for him! You're lucky to have a friend like that. I think my biggest supporters are my sister and my textiles teacher (both of which support me without realising it)

They really are. Aside from just having someone who won't laugh at my weird addiction to British panel shows (I watched all of QI in one weekend once), it's great to know there's someone who really appreciates the things I spend so much time and energy creating.
