Buttons!

Pammerz makes really awesome jewelry from them. I like to use them for keychains and as fasteners for books/journals. I've also decorated a couple shirts in the past by either changing all the boring white buttons to colored buttons or by sewing a bunch of buttons on one side, kinda like a brooch.

I have probably $40 worth of buttons (which adds up to be a few pounds of plastic, metal, and shell) and I honestly like to just keep them around even if I can't do anything with them.. It's kinda like my own little stash of treasures because they're all different colors, haha.

I use buttons for lots of things

Eyes on various things... my most recent project was an appliquéd bag with tree frogs on and I used some really small buttons for the pupils.

I've also used them for an inchies swap where I stitched various buttons to coloured felt.

I love buttons!!!!

I haven't seen that.. but now I'm going to have to!

Also, I've made tons of jewelry from buttons--mostly just rings and earrings though. Haven't made any in a while, but button rings were my favorite things to make when I had gold wire around. lol

I had alot of buttons, but my stash seems to got lost in the move..
and im alwys wanting buttons, now I have to start collection all over..sigh..
