tying off fishing line

so i'm trying to make some jewelry with fishing line because it seems to work great however i'm not sure how to keep the knot from slipping >.< can someone help please?? I've tried searching but i cant find anything online. it has to be a knot because its for rings.

You can make it stronger with a drop of liquid glue. But, normally with two or three knots it works. Just make sure that you tie them in opposite directions so they don't slip.

I use several half hitches.. I use a half hitch, needle through a few beads, I do this 3 times. remember to needle through a few beads before you cut your thread
