How much do craft pliers cost? Are there different types of pliers? I am trying to get into more jewelry/acessory type crafts. I am not old enough to get a job so money is somewhat hard to come by for me.

A set of the 3 kinds of pliers you need should start at around $6 and go up to about $20, depending on the size and quality of the pliers. I have a set of miniature pliers that cost about $8 and a larger set that cost about $12. I've had both sets for years now and my only complaint is that the wire cutters don't stay sharp for very long.

You'll want chain-nose or needle-nose pliers, round-nose pliers, and wire-cutting pliers. If you can find pliers with a rubber or plastic coating on the noses, those are great because they reduce the chances of your jewelry wires getting marked up when you're working on a piece.
