Soooo....when you host a ring swap...dibbs on the eye ring Happy
The mask is pretty too, and I like the godess pendant (well, it IS green)

I usually use silver plated copper core jewellery wire bought from a local craft shop or the coloured aluminium stuff

I can get the aluminum kind, but it seems very flimsy and breaks off easy :/ I also can find beading wire, but that's about all walmart has to offer...I don't get to go to craft stores very often...Sadily

Yeah, you need much thicker than the beading stuff.
The coloured stuff here is also usually quite fine, I've tried braiding it but even then its very malleable.
One store in town does the heavier gauge coloured.
I could send you some to try before you order some, if you like?

You can order it online, etsy.com is a great place to find supplies, and if you look around a bit you can find good deals. It looks like they were using 20gauge non-tarnishing silver wire. And then a 24gauge wire for the thinnest more decorative parts. Dont get the "soft" silver wire though, it will be flimsy like the stuff from walmart. Maybe try a "half hard". But it is really different to work with then the stuff from walmart. It scratches more easily and will get all dent up if you pinch it too hard with your pliers. Get some steel wool to help buff out the dents and scratches before and after you work with it Happy

it looks like 12-14 guage on the first two to me,3 an4 16-20 guage, and all of the above on the mask lol.

I have been buying mine at Michaels, or Jo Anne Fabrics, Ive been too nervous to buy them online yet, I like to physicaly feel them before I buy it.

To go along with all of Pammerz's great tips (which I will be checking out myself :-p) try a pair of rubber coated/soft tipped round nosed pliers to cut back on the scrtaching. I'm investing in a pair myself.

Good luck, and be sure to post what they look like when your done! I want to know how you wrap you eye in to the ring!!
