earring gift box

So my sister's birthday is in a month, and since she is always stealing my earrings (she doesn't have as many as I do) I decided to give her a box full of earrings.
Now I want something original to put the earrings in, something box-like, which displays the earrings nicely when she opens it... Does anyone have an idea? That would be so helpful!

Maybe something that can stand up vertically? Possibly a photo frame that's been modified to hold earrings? Those are the only ideas I really have for now. I'll let you know if I think of more!

Thanks Monika, that is a really nice idea! Maybe I can do that for the large earrings I bought her Happy I'm still looking for something to put all the stud earrings in, I just came across this: http://images.rockler.com/images/articles/box.jpg maybe I can make that out of an old wooden cigar box or something Happy

Cigar boxes are always really neat as jewelry boxes. There are so many ways to decorate them.

Maybe combine the box idea with a big earring card that can stand up in the box, kinda like a pop-up earring display.

try this! I used this to display my earrings Happy
It is a version and you could find a tutorial at the real one Happy Its so easy to make and I gifted it to my mom's friend and she loved it. Hope this helps youHappy
