I'm searching for a T-rex style dinosaur pattern - does anyone know of a free pattern I could use? A sewing pattern though - I can't knit or crochet! :(

Hi! I found a couple of free patterns, they're not all T-rex patterns, but I hope this is helpful :)
one of them also gives a bit of information on how to draw your own pattern, I think (but not sure, I didn't read it through)

do what dizzy said, but add a bit in the tummy and head to make it rounder. i have some patterns, i wills see if i can upload them somewhere but i did buy them.
