i need help with dream catchers

i love dream catchers!!! ive made quite a few but i need new circles/basething, does anyone know what im talking about and if anyne can help that would be great. ive tried wire and old bracelets but does anyone have any other ideas????

well you can use anything thats a circle really. I like to use old key rings and embroidery hoops.

I have a plastic bag handle the hoop kind. I used one for a mobile and have been toying with the idea of attempting to make a dream catcher with the other.

we have made fabulous ones before out of grapevine. If you live near a wooded area you can go out and cut it yourself, or, you can buy it at Michaels craft store and tie it into a loop. It's unique because its never a perfect circle so it gives very unusual and nice shapes to your work and looks more authentic than wire or man made materials.

Coming from a slight Native American background, I learned how to make them early on. I always used brass rings for their strength and good shape, then wrapped them with suede cord and used sinew for the "web" and decorated it with glass beads and real feathers. They always worked well for me when I made them that way... then again, I never forgot to put them in the sunlight every other day or so to burn out the bad dreams. Happy
