How did you find CO+K and why did you join?
I can't remember how I found it (it was 9 years ago!) but I joined because I love crafting.
What projects are you currently working on?
I am making a pineapple hat for my niece. It's a hat that looks like a pineapple!

What does your craft space look like?
We have a really small house, so I have a tiny little craft space downstairs next to the couch! It works for what I need, and I can see my toddler play in the living room while I knit!
Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?
Crochet hooks and knitting needles! I hate it when I misplace one.
What do you craft along to?
The sound of my happy toddler playing...usually with play-dough.

Favorite Craft
I don't think I can pick between my two favorite crafts: knitting and crochet. They both fall under fiber art, so maybe my favorite craft is just fiber art! I knit or crochet almost every day, and mostly make hats or scarves in the winter. In the summer I make a lot of washcloths and plushies, because it's too hot for hats!
Carolynn's Top Crafts
If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?
I really want to learn to play the violin and sew more. I am a basic beginner at best.
Who are your crafting heroes?
Right now I am really enjoying cooking, but I have something called gestational diabetes so I have to be on a special diet for my health and the health of my baby. So I am enjoying and watching food crafting, mostly for low carb paleo or keto meals. I love keto connect and well fed!

I am in a big letter writing phase right now. It just feels so personal to write a long letter to a friend! I love to make my own cards and stationary when I have time (and time is a short thing here, I am 37 weeks pregnant and have a 2 year old) and thus this wonderful how-to birthday card by A Celebrated Life totally caught my eye! Another thing I love to do is knit--and crochet. I also love cat hats, I have about three I've made myself! But I don't have a cat hood, and have added this project to my to-do list for sure! Cat Hood by FallenBeyond is awesome and meowrific. As I said above, I'm 37 weeks pregnant with my second baby--a girl this time! We are making her a unicorn nursery, and I think these rainbow truffles from the domesticrebel would be wonderful for her baby shower or first birthday party.
