When did you first get in to cooking and do you remember the first recipe you tried?

I've been cooking with my Mom most of my life but I'll never forget when I was 12, sneaking to the grocery store when she was at work to buy ingredients (boxed mix and canned frosting) to surprise her with a birthday cake!

What's your kitchen like and how do you keep organized when cooking?

Im sooo type A in the kitchen! It's always pretty organized and clean (though the sink usually has dishes in it). My fridge and freezer look army regimented and there's always meal prepped leftovers in there!

What tips would you give to someone wanting to become a better cook?

Have fun with it! I truly believe anyone can cook but you'll only do it and get better if you enjoy doing it. Read recipes, look at comments, adjust things to make them your own!

Who would you invite to your dream dinner party and what would you cook for them?

Aaron Rodgers, Kristin Chenoweth, Dustin Pedroia, Barack and Michelle Obama. Lots of comfort food, meat and plenty of wine!

Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?

I am sooo not crafty! Like, cannot sew a button or draw a straight line. But I love to dance and actually teach dance to kids in my spare time!

Which cooking blogs do you love to read?

Emilybites, PinchofYum
