• 

  Step 1

  Gather all materials needed.
  Im using an old Whiskas treat tub, i have attached a downloadable version of the face which you could print out and put it onto card or something.

  Step 2

  Trace around your template with a pen or pencil on your fabric or felt twice.

• Step 3

  Cut your cat faces out.

• 

  Step 4

  Pin together drawn side on the inside, if your using a sewing machine do it the opposite way and then turn it the right way once sewn.

  Step 5

  Sew together, here im using a blanket stitch.
  Leave a gap on one of the sides so you can add your stuffing and catnip.

  Step 6

  Stuff your shape, you may need the end of a pencil to push the stuffing up into the ears, i used a a spray catnip here which i just sprayed the stuffing, if your using the grinded stuff it would be best to cut a small rectangle out of fabric or something similar and then sew it closed and then pop it inside with the stuffing. Sew the gap closed.

  Step 7

  Decorate the toy if you wish with scrap fabric or felt or if your handy with a needle you can decorate it with just thread.

  Step 8

  There you have it, a fun, cheap and easy toy for you furry little friend.
