Birthday Grams!

Thanks for the feedback so far. I have been trying to keep track of what people send out and how many they recieve, to make it even, but its harder than it looks. It's actually easier to do for people who haven't sent out much.

@Hayley, as your birthday was the first one, you were kind of the guinea-pig! I definately think some of the other birthdays went smoother than yours. A lot of your packages seemed to go awry.

I think I will be making it international only as its too difficult trying to juggle people who want to be american only.

I also think listing when the birthdays are is also a good idea, as then people can plan their time better. There were 2 in December this year, which is tricky when people are carfting for xmas.

I had thought about asking people to tell me what birthdays they were gonna do beforehand. But I wasn't sure how to make sure the send out/recieved ratio even. Does anyone have any ideas?

I just had a thought. I may split the board into 6 monthly sections, people could commit to the whole year or just the 6 months that their birthday was within. A new intake of people joining in the 2nd 6 months would hopefully balance out the people that had left and make it more even for the people that were sending out for every birthday. What do people think?

I really enjoyed this swap but I think it's a good idea to list the birthdays, as I sometimes get caught off guard when I don't have time or money (being a student sucks sometimes)

I've just about organised in my head what I'm gonna do for the new swap now, but I'm leaving this board open for feedback over the weekend. I'll be posting the new birthdaygram board for sign-ups on monday 29th.
