Hey everyone! Since this round of birthdaygrams is drawing to a close I'd like to open the swap board to FEEDBACK!

This is the first time I've organised a swap this complicated and at times I don't think things went as I'd expected. I'd like to keep it going but I think I want to change the format to make it a bit more flexible to people leaving and joining. Doesn't anyone have any suggestions to how I could do this or any other general comments or feedback? If there was anything you didn't like about the swap this is a chance to let me know.

hmmm... sure it's hard to make it so anyone can join and/or leave at any moment...maybe we should all accept that not because I sent 8 gifts throughout the year I should receive also 8 for my birthday.... That way anyone could join or leave at any time.... maybe keep track of how many gifts someone has sent so when her birthday comes she receives more a less the same amount (we could all work as some sort of "swap angels" in those cases...)

In general I thought you did a great job Libby!! I really don't know what to tell you to improve for the next round....
Maybe a good idea would be to post all the birthdays, so everybody knows of the upcoming ones. That way, if anyone needs to, she can work in advance the future gifts.

I usually have the same problem with every swap I participate in that the things I send not always get to destination.... as the things that are sent to me. But there is nothing to do about it.... so that would be the only bad thing I can say about the swap...

Guess I wasn't much of a help with suggestions and feedback...hahaha

The only thing I can think of though is perhaps finding a way so everyone gets a similar amount, so its a little fairer.

For example, some people who send out birthday grams all year round only got 1 or 2 items in return, where some got much more....

Perhaps just ensuring that everyone is commited to sending out internationally and sending out a birthdaygram for every birthday? You could create a list of people and keep on top of what was received, to make sure everyone sent one? And also perhaps send an overview to people so they know when and how many they expect to send so no one is caught out and has to flake...just an idea though.

Overall, its a really good idea though and it works pretty well- thanks for all your efforts thus far Libby!

I think it went well.We are always at the mercy of the postal services.

I think a full list at the beginning might help with prompts as we go through.That might help with planning.
