Patterns that don't suck!

I've been stumbling through all the craft websites and realized huh all of these patterns are for old people. Let us share good patterns online! Can you tell I'm out of ideas?

Knitting patterns? Sewing patterns?

That's actually a website called patterns that don't suck- I think it's primarily a crochet site.

Have you seen "Fashionline by Burda" and "Burda young fashion" patterns already? Some of them don't suck - that much ... hehe
I love that one ... http://www.burdafashion.com/de/Modeschnitte/FashionLine_by_burda/501D_Parka/1270778-1593436-1593441-1593460.html

I'm going through a knitting phase, where I look at patterns but never make them

www.kpixie.com and www.curlypurly.com/eggs.html

I think i'll try the eggs tomorrow once I master circular knitting so maybe not tomorrow, or later in the day that is.

its really hard to find good online patterns but you also have to be really specific. i've found some really good corset patterns online, however you needed to have a strong sewing background to understand them. it also deepends on if you want a weekend project that can be done in maybe two sitings or a week project takeing up from anywhere from 7 days to 14 days.

Any knitting pattern for clothing takes a loong time especially if you abandon it for a while like I do...I've started buying a knitting magazine, called Knitting, straight to the point isn't it! I think the Americans can get it but you have to reserve a copy by the sounds of this one letter they had in one of the issues, or you can probably order some from the website, the Pounds down against the dollar act nooow! But the patterns are really cool and I get loads of inspiration from it, it's lovely. There's some very good how-tos in the back issues I ordered. Oh I just thought sometimes Americans knit differently from the British errr...I dunno! And although it costs money it's so worth it, you could probably find a similar cool magazine!

Anything you wanna wear takes loads of wool to make it with, well not all clothes patterns but most and it's only really fit to wear if you buy luxery yarns which are expensive but worth it because you'd just be scratching otherwise.

I don't know why I went into all that, I looove that magazine though, and its 2am, I go even more waffley, and where has Chelsea beeen for ages!!!!

Knitty.com has some nice clothing patterns. Some people say crochetme.com is "hip" but I don't think so, but that's my opinion. There's a book on T-shirt deconstruction that's really cool. I don't remember what the name of it is. Stitch and Bitch: The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller is a good book to learn how to crochet and has awesome patterns.
