General gift ideas?

I need something that I can give to people I'm not super-good friends with, work colleagues etc. It'd be nice if it was something I made but it doesn't have to be. I guess my best idea right now is some nicely packaged cookies, but something a little better would be good...

for xmas time for when I was working and Lillian's first year in school, I made bath salts for Lillian's teachers in differnt colors and scents, I just used epsion bath salts and food coloring and essential oil. I put them in little zippy bags and printed off my own lables.

For My coworkers I just went to the dollar tree and picked up coffee mugs and filled it with candy, pens ect and tied it with that cellaphane stuff and pretty ribbon.

so that is what i did. Happy

I like the idea of bath salts. I was gonna make those awesome cookie bath bombs as well, but lots of people don't have baths these days =S

But I want to do something like that; something fairly cheap and easy that you can personalise and package prettily.

I've got this amazing recipe for cookies, they taste just like Lebkuchen and you can make 50 in one batch, so those will be what I give to my boss and stuff.

I'm thinking for the girls at work I'll make some felt food pieces and make either brooches or necklaces or earrings or something.

For my neices I am making them cute little aprons and a small booklet full of easy cookie recipes. For my brother in law I am making a zombie survial kit(he is a big movie buff) for one of my brothers I made him a bento box full of felt sushi, and for my future brother in law I made a set of for felt coaster with comic book bubbles saying"lol" "lmao"FtW" " and "stfu" lol...that is what i have so far. Happy

i am going to go to the dollar tree and get that army toy kit that has the gernade, gun and toy knife and either velcro it or use elastic to put in the box, and i had painted 2 barbies that the girls broke and no longer use into green zombies and i printed off a how to guide on how to survive a zombie attack lol
