I need help, please

I just found this site and I can't figure out how to download the patterns I want. Most of them have a download button and it wants to install software on my computer. I did that, but the same things happens on all the sites I try to download a patter from. What am I doing wrong? Please help. I love this site but just can't seem to get to where I want to go. :Happy Thanks

For clarity: You are trying to download a pattern from C0&K? Or upload a pattern of your own? Or from another site? (If another site, leave a link here and I'll be happy to investigate.)
