Same!! It's really frustrating when you're looking how to make something and a good project is not a how-to. Maybe you coul do what some websites do, like a tab that says sort by, recipes, how-to's, creations etc or something...

Like on Youtube I would like to be able to subscribe to- or to fav users... some of them make amazing stuff all the time! This way you'll immediatly get to know whenever they've uploaded a new project. I reckon it will be an enormous ego boost for the one being favourited and also think they'll go on creating more awesome stuff.

What do you all think?

I think instead of cliking "add to favourites" on a project there should just be a little love heart and when you clik on it, it turns red. That way the whole page won't refresh and it just makes it quicker, plus you wouldn't need to have the favourites section as if people wanted to save the project they could just put it in a list. It's kind of similar to the "LIKE" button on facebook. It would just makes things sooo much simpler.

we need to be able to crop the picture we want to use as the main one that appears on the projects list. on dawanda you can section a bit of the picture you upload so that the best bit shows in the main thumbnail, on here it can be hard to display what youve made well
