apparently the record label asked them to write poppier songs, so in revenge they wrote that. only it turned out to be a brilliant song so the record label weren't that upset really.

The Pork and beans song is great, the rest of the album is not so good, in my opinion, but I have only listened to it 3 times so far and not on my own. But nothing else jumped out at me from the album.

Actually, I believe Tay Zonday did that on his own. If you read his Wikipedia page, it says that it was released as "a music video to celebrate Dr Pepper's new Cherry Chocolate beverage". I don't know about other places, but I've never seen Dr. Pepper run that ad, and so I don't see much reason to call him a 'sell out'.

Anyway, my roommate got me addicted to that song. I just love it. And my other roommate got me listening to Chocolate Rain. Oh, my roommates and their strange tastes. xD
