Music rocks my socks...

So I took a look through the topics on this board and don't think I saw any on the music people like, so thought I'd see. I love ska, punk and reggae.I'm in no way restricted to those genres though.
I greatly enjoy bands that blend different genres of music.
Some of my favourite bands include adequate seven, rx bandits, big d and the kids table, howards alais, streetlight manifesto, reel big fish, bedouin soundclash, sonic boom six, gogol bordello and the jb conspiracy, o and Seekret Socyetee are good.
the list could go on for quite a long time though but i wont put you through that.

If anyone has any similar bands or even different bands to recommend shout them out. I love being introduced to new stuff.

*high five*

I'm going to assume you've heard of Capdown? I saw them one time being supported by Adequate Seven (who are awesome) and they're a really great bit of ska-punk. It's a pity they're not about any more.

As for other bands I always enjoyed the purer ska band Big Hand (who are from around here) when I was at Uni, they kinda disappeared and got crap for a while but I saw them at afestival last year and they were great, so all is forgiven Happy

I've heard of big hand, they are pretty good these days. I've not seen them live but they are playing in cardiff soon so i might go check them out. Adquate Seven are my fav band of all time, they put on such amazing live shows. It's a shame the live album didn't capture the true awesomeness of every other show i've been to. I happen to know how awesome they are since I've seen them 23 times tehe.
And capdown, yeah used to love them when I was younger but their shows over the last 2 years or so have lacked the raw energy they used to have, I guess it's age and it's the right point in their lives to split up. I hope both AD7 and capdown do some kind of reunion show in the future.

What kind of music you into?
*high five*

I saw Capdown at the Leeds festival last year (on their "last ever tour" tour thing) and they did seem as good as when I first saw them (yeeeeears prior), but maybe it was because of the urgency of those last shows.

I like most kinds of music Happy. I don't discriminate, it just has to be good. I play in a sorta viking metal-y band but that doesn't mean I'm not allowed to like everything else Happy
