Book Recs!

I'm in need of some good book Recs, I'm currently wanting a pirate adventure love story but not really finding one that catchs my eye.

I also love reading most books so you don't have to rec a pirate one.

I'm big into fantasy, things like Harry Potter <-big fan...well HUGE fan

Also I'd like to rec. A dirty job by Christopher Moore...well anything by him is great!

I read Pirate Latitudes by Michael Crichton and I thought it was pretty good. lotsa action, some romance. I also liked the Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan. Its not a pirate story but fantasy like the gods and stuff. Really intriguing storyline.

Have you ever read the Eragon series? The author, Christopher Paolini wrote the first book when he was 16 I believe. They are about dragons and faieres and set in medieval ages, so if you like fantasy I would highly recommend this series.
Another good series is the Vampire Academy, it's about vampires but much more complex and well written than the Twilight saga.
Also check out the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld. This series is more sci-fi, but has a love story as well. This is def. one of my favorite books.

I recommended alot of series, but I will try and think of individual books as well.

I'm re-reading the Uglies series for about the fourth time. Amaaazing books. So I agree with Felecity W., you should definitely check those out. Also the Mortal instruments series. The City of Bones, and so on. That has a good love story and has almost everything supernatural in it.

I dont have any pirate themed one to recommend but if you like a scare but with a great story line i recommend Dean Koontz's work, his Odd Thomas series is amazing and you really connect with the main character.
Watchers is a great and sweet book,
The Taking is scary as hell literally,
Velocity is a fast paced thriller of his.

Also another great writer is Jasper Fford he's written an amazing book called Shades of grey about a world where people are jugded and treated by people based on what what colour they can see. And The Eyre Affair is another great one of his.

I cried three times during the film Chelli B, so I know I'll be crying at the end of the book.

Another good book to read which is sad but also happy is Five People you Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom, It starts off with the death of the main character and follows his journey in the afterlife. That made me cry but its a beautiful book x
