Funny Monolouge?

My schools director and a bunch of students want me to try out for the school play "Harvey", for the part of the sister (I honestly know NOTHING about this play or the character).

We have to have a comedic monolouge to recite and then do a reading from the script.

I can't find anything funny D:
Anyone got any ideas??

Oh...and does anyone have any tips on how to get over stagefright? o^_^o
I've been in plyas for 3 years and preforming musically for 6, but I still get the jitters :o

Our school always did "Steel Magnolias". The parts of Ouiser are hilarious. But then again, I'm southern, and the movie is really southern...so I'm not sure if you'll think it's as funny. Have you seen them movie? You should.
