Outfit problem!

Ok so about a week ago I posted a thread here about what to give as a gift for a bachelorette party. Well now I have that sorted out because I'm giving this really nice "Wild Berry Cheesecake" candle that smells so good and so much like cheesecake you would seriously want to eat it and a card with a personal message in it. I was going to give a bigger gift but I found out that she isn't expecting any gifts from anyone so I went with a smaller gift.

Now I have a new problem... An outfit! I got a message via facebook from one of the bridesmaids saying to "dress up in your sexiest outfits! Everyone's going to be wearing something sexy out to the bar!" Well after that message I went a little pale because I don't dress that way! I'm not a girly-girl by any means and I can't walk in heels to save my life! I guess I should have figured that for a bachelorette party everyone's going to be a little skimpy but I never thought about it!

So I'm going to wear black capris with black flats and maybe this shirt:

Sorry about the colour of the pic, the shirt is black/white/beige but my room is painted orange and with the sun coming in it makes everything look orange. So would that shirt be alright? I know it's not sexy but I don't dress like that and my cousin (the bride) knows it so she said just to wear whatever is comfortable but I don't want to look like a dork beside all these tall, skimpy dressed, high-heel wearing women!

The second shirt is this bold black and white bat-wing short shirt. I would wear this one with the necklace in the pic and maybe even sport a red lip.

Which one do you think would be better? One's dressier and the other is more fun. Which way to go?

Hmmm, I would go for the second one. It has that retro hint to it that makes it stylish. That and the red lip would definitely look sexy enough ^___^

I would choose the striped one out of the two. Have you ever tried a wedge heel? They are much more comfortable than traditional heels and still seem dressed up. As long as your makeup and hair is dressier than you should be ok, but I would suggest you wear leggings or capris NOT made of denim.
Also you never know how much fun it is to dress up all girly until you try it Happy Just remember it is possible to dress "classy sexy" not "slutty sexy."

Thanks guys! My mom also voted for the second one. The capris I'm wearing are black and not denim, they're not cotton either... I'm not sure what they are but they're dressy enough with the right shoes and accessories.

As for the wedge heels, I have tried them and they are 100 times more comfy but I have a small yet wide foot and I find it really hard to find heels that don't kill me in the first 5 minutes (wedges or not).

For my hair I took 1 hour and a half to pass the iron on it. It's very thick and it's curly and has a mind of it's own most of the time so when people see me with perfectly straight hair they know it's for a special occasion! hahaha. Yeah so it's straight and the front portion is done in a "bump" exactly like this:

The second outfit is really cute, maybe some red accessories and red lippy would bring a nice nautical vintage pin feel to it. and the hair would be awesome Happy
