@Rainbowjo86, Your projects are wonderful! Thanks for sharing them. I'm not sure what I'd be looking for in a project. I haven't knitted in many years. My husband always told me I should make my own knitted hats because it gets pretty cold here in IL in the winter, but I'm not sure about getting back into knitting. I'm primarily into paper crafts and jewelry and have recently picked up my paint brush again after 3 yrs.

@peg-r I'm knitting a hat ATM - we're going to New York in a couple of weeks and fearing cold weather! As soon as the hat gets good I'll post a photo Happy

I've never done paper craft before - what type of stuff do you do?

@Rainbowjo86 I can't wait to see the picture. You won't have to worry too much about the cold. The temperatures have been running above normal in most of the U.S. The east has been seeing highs in the 50's and 60's with lows in the 40's. I'm in the Midwest and we are still wearing shorts which is unheard of this time of year.

I've done anything from scrapbooking to card making and making my own paper and hand made flowers from it. You can see some of my work on my profile and check out my blog at www.pegscraftingcorner.blogspot.com. It's a few months behind because I haven't taken the time to do any posts and need to get back to doing that.

I'm Melissa, I've been on a long hiatus. I am a physicist by trade but mental illness has me on disability so now I craft and volunteer. I used to be obsessed with this site and then suddenly I quit crafting. A very dark time, indeed. Now I am back to being obsessed and interested in crafting which is a positive. Looks like it's homemade Christmas again. Haha.

Hi Melissa! We are glad you have joined us again at Cut Out + Keep. I'm sorry you have been through such a rough time. I'm glad to hear you are getting back into crafting. That's great! I love that you are making a homemade Christmas again. I do that with gifts for our extended family and I always make us something special to decorate with. Come to think of it I still need to figure out what to do this year. Lol What time of crafting do you enjoy?

@peg-r
I love pretty much anything. I knit, crochet, sew, make jewelry, cook, bake. I'm not a pro, but I have fun. Right now I'm trying galaxy shoes and batwing sleeve tunic. I hope they turn out! Are you working on anything?

@cabibbo

I do paper crafting and have done several tutorials here for Cut Out + Keep and createforless.com. I just finished a card tutorial for Create for Less. It will be posted sometime at the end of the week I believe. Tomorrow morning I need to do a quick birthday card for my dad who turned 86 yesterday. I will get to go see him tomorrow and give it to him. I, also, just bought some beads to work on a necklace for the mom of one of my son's friends. She's unable to work and she only has her son to care for her. They won't have much for Christmas so my family is going to make sure they have a few gifts to enjoy this holiday season.

Hello hello! I'm justbre....or Breanna! I am back after a hiatus and have been here since 2011. I'm from the Central Valley of California. I am recently married to my best friend and love of my life! We hope to start a family very soon, but for now our three crazy cats will do! I love to crochet. I like to dabble in sewing projects here and there. I also really like working with polymer clay. Being creative in the kitchen is fun, as long as I have a recipe! I'm no good with just my imagination and food!!!

@neonstarlight I was just in Portland visiting family. I happened upon a yarn store (forget the name) and bought Alexandra's craft yarn. It's pretty and I can't wait to use it. Portland is a neat town. Lots of vegetarian and vegan places. I was in heaven. Happy crafting!
