I've seen Zombieland, Saun Of The Dead and Resident Evil. I actually laughed through most of Zombieland, I found it hilarious, but maybe that's just me.

My boyfriend has possibly seen 80 percent of all zombie movies in existence. I'm honestly not exaggerating. We've seen every Dawn of the Dead series(I guess you could call it that), Evil Dead, Zombieland, Shaun of the Dead. Those are the only ones I can think of right now. And Zombieland was very funny, but my boyfriend didn't like it very much because he doesn't like Emma Stone.

Rec - reeeeally good spanish film (there's an american remake but I've heard bad things)
Dead Snow a.k.a Død snø- Norwegian film about Nazi zombies. So funny!
I LOVED the Dead Set series and Planet Terror.
Return of the Living Dead and Land of the Dead.

I'm not a big Zombie fan but I LOVED zombieland. My hubby actually watched it alone and re-watched it with me, it was that funny.
Resident Evil was ok, but I'm not really into zombie films.

You people are forgetting Lucio Fulci's Zombi. Straight up gorgeous lo-fi trash. The eyeball scene still makes me shudder. Other than the obvious (All 6 Romero films and the O'Bannon stuff and sequels through Rave to the Grave) Redneck Zombies was pretty spectacular. I recommend White Zombie if you haven't seen any pre-Romero stuff, just so you know what's up. Return of the Living Dead Part 2 is probably my all-time favorite. An O'Bannon zombie will win in a fight every time.

P.S. Rawr, not just you... Zombieland was a comedy.

I don't consider 28 days later a zombie movie. I think it's more like a branch of it. My boyfriend and I discussed this and we think there is like a infectious disease branch of zombie movies.

most zombies are the result of some kind of infection or exposure. 28DL was just rage zombies rather than the more traditional kind. though pre Romero, it was more about making mindless slaves of the living.

That is true. I think there is a lot of different types of zombie movies. I think I just get picky with classification. I don't know why. It's just me.
