Avatar

I can't be the only one who absolutely LOVED this movie, can I?
My mom and I wanted to see Sherlock Holmes but it was starting too late, so we saw Avatar instead. We had no idea what to expect and it was abslutely amazing!
What I really liked about it was the whole speculative fiction aspect - the fact that something lke that could actually happen.
This has definately made my list of favourite movies. Has it made anyone else's?

Saw it day before yesterday. I actually didn't want to see it, but my it was my fiance's birthday, and it was his pick. We saw it in regular 3d, not IMAX, but it was still amazing. I want to be a Na'vi, too, Michelle. That braid-end thingie that connected with everything on the dang planet was neat. I want one. Did anyone else notice that A'teri, or however you said her name, had stretched lobes? I don't, but I think they're cool. I just thought it was funny that they added that in there. I tried to pay attention to the other Na'vi to see if they had them, too. I didn't notice any others, but her mother could have. That was such a cool movie. They may be doing a trilogy, James Cameron had it planned that way, in case it did well, but wasn't sure if they'd make back the fortune they spent on making it.

I heard that they are doing the second one now,

and yeah I noticed that too

so how many people you think will be doing the Na'vi for halloween?

and I love the story, like Cameron said in a interview, he is a treehugger

I love how they were connected with the planet.

I wish they are going to con't with the story, but the second movie will focus on another group.

i wanted to hate it. I figured it was going to be a terrible Titanic-type movie again from James Cameron. But it wasn't. I loved it.
