Release Dates

Does anyone know when the new Batman and Sin City 2 are due out? I thought it was around this time of year.

The new Batman ("The Dark Knight") got knocked back to next year. Current release dates are the 18th and 25th of July 2008 for the US and the UK respectively.

I know less about Sin City 2 but it looks kinda like it's not started filming yet. They just have a script.

dark knight didnt get knocked back its always be an 08 release. sin city is not a definite as since grindhouse bombed rodriguez' stock is rock bottom. Frank miller says he will make sure it happens, but they are still waiting for angelina jolie

Dark Knight was originally advertised for a late 2007 release. It was a long time ago it was knocked back, though.

Is Dark Night going to have Christian Bale as Batman? He was so awesome in Batman Begins it would be a shame if they didn't use him again. I love him brooding...

I've loved Christian Bale since he was in Newsies in, like, 1993. And Swing Kids - I love that movie.

Empire of the Sun is the first film I saw him in, way back on video when it came out round '88. The next film I saw him in was American Psycho, so you can imagine my surprise when I realized they were the same dude! haha

If you like Christian Bale, you MUST see The Machinist. I think it's his best and one of the greatest psychological horror films in years.
