China?

I really want a knuckle clutch. (I know there is a tutorial on here but I want something bigger than a sunglasses case). But I don't want to spend $40+ on one. The only ones that are under that amount are from China and I'm scared to death to order from China. I've heard too many horror stories about credit card numbers being stolen and used or bad quality items that the designer wouldn't sell in the US being the ones that were received. I'm frightened.

Anyone have any positive experiences with ordering from China? Any tips from anyone who has ordered from China would be appreciated.

i ordered keychains from china through ebay. i did however use paypal as they have a money-back guarantee for payments. took quite a bit to get here but that's what happens.

I've never had any bad experiences ordering from China or Japan! I'd recommend you check out this online store: www.ioffer.com. I order almost everything from there!

id say find a site that you can use paypal on, just incase youre not satisfied. also only buy one thing at first and makes sure its cheap, so if they somehow cheat you out of money it wont be that big of a loss.

also, rawr rawr x, i just checked out "ioffer", and all i saw was a bunch of cheap knock offs. its just sad because real designers don't get the credit and their stuff is being copied and probably being made cheaply.

I ordered some weave clips from China. It was an ebay transaction and it worked out great. You just have to wait a little while longer.

I've ordered quite a few items from China, mainly jewellery components, and I have always received them in less the one week.
Make sure you pay by paypal, and if you are still nervous about that, you can cancel the card linked to your paypal account shortly after the transaction, and get a new one .
Make sure you tick the box on paypal " use paypal balance" to pay for your items, and just keep enough in your paypal account to cover purchases. If anyone tries to access your paypal via card, your card will now be invalid, and you will hear from paypal right away.
