Help with diy iPod touch case

So recently I got an iPod touch for Christmas. I bought a cheap case in a small store in china town thinking that I would decorate it when I got home. Alas, apparently sharpie does not like me and it all rubbed off and left the tiniest smear that I CANNOT get off. I think it did this because it is a rubber/silicone case and as previously mentioned, REALLY cheap! I would appreciate it if you guys left some suggestions for this sad little piece of plastic. Thanks!

Does Mod Podge stick to silicone? Maybe you could decoupage something onto it to cover the smudge.

Stickers! If paper stickers don't work, you could try plastic or foam stickers. 3D stickers always seem to have really strong adhesive, and you can get self-adhesive foam in all sorts of colors and make your own stickers from it.

If you like the idea of decoupage, but ModPodge doesn't work, you could always try using acrylic gel, which is a good acrylic paint extender that can also be used as decoupage glue. It's flexible and dries with a texture similar to silicone/rubber. I'd recommend Liquitex super heavy matte gel.
